Yogasana
Yoga is a beautiful and vast discipline.
A process of self-refinement, not to “improve” the self,
but rather to remove external attachment and all that is not of the true self.
Yogasana, or just ‘asana’, is the postural practice of yoga
(It is what is most commonly thought of when you think of ‘Yoga’).
Asana offers amazing physical, mental, and emotional benefits, however, its purpose goes beyond these things as well.
It has been said that ‘Yoga happens in the pause, not the movement’.
In this pause, the practitioner builds the focus and discipline
to prepare for deeper concentration and meditation.
